Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier Tuesday morning to evaluate the Crimson Tide's 48-45 Iron Bowl loss, and discuss what that means moving forward to Alabama's bowl game and beyond 2019.

"Some things happened that you don't usually see happen," Hurt told Host Reier. "I thought both teams played extremely well. Neither team quit, both teams got behind, both teams fought back right down to the last play."

"Your leadership gets taken away," Hurt continued. "In this case by injuries, those are apart of football and they happen, but there were many guys. Who were leaders, or potential leaders. Your quarterback obviously, Dylan Moses obviously. I hadn't even thought of him."

"If a guy is a first-rounder," Hurt told Reier his thoughts on if any upperclassmen may skip out on an Alabama bowl game. "He certainly has the right to determine what's best for his own future. Some guys may say 'I think I've given enough', and don't want to risk their financial future."
