Crimson Tide Recruit Narrows Down Schools
Five-star class of 2024 running back Jerrick Gibson has narrowed down his schools to 12.
The IMG athlete ranks at No. 8 nationally, No. 1 in running backs, and No. 4 in the state of Fla., according to 247Sports Composite.
"Explosive in almost everything he does and is fast enough to win his fair share of foot races out on the perimeter. By far one of the better route runners to come out of the Sunshine State in recent memory as he mixes gears well and uses a nice burst to shake linebackers and safeties before securing the football with above-average hands. Not one to go down at the first sign of contact – at least at the prep level – and usually is able to get out of trouble with his quick feet and loose hips," said southeast recruiting analyst for 247Sports Andrew Ivins.
The junior will choose between Michigan, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, Ohio State, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Texas, and Alabama.
According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida has a 31.8% chance to land the prospect.
