2014 SEC Previews

This year's rivalry week marks the end of one of the wildest college football seasons ever. We dread the end of all that excitement, but hey, at least we get to enjoy a nice slate of rivalry games before the postseason begins. Many of the SEC teams were criticized last week for the decision to play FCS opponents as tune up games for this weekend, but we still saw some excitement with these "c

College football is slowly hitting the home stretch in one of the wildest seasons we've had in recent memory. Every team in the country has experienced some kind an upset or close call, but none more so than the SEC. T The results of last weekend's games only further proves that you can never fully project who will win when two SEC teams line up to play each other...

Survive and advance. Both are hard to do when you play in the SEC. It's difficult for most teams to keep an eye on a playoff when they already play eight playoff-like games in the regular season, and that is not even counting the conference championship...

The road to the national title is not an easy journey. Teams from all over the country wait anxiously as 12 committee members decide their fate each and every week. Winning is the key to survival, but that's never easy in the SEC. The unpredictability of the conference was on full display last Saturday, and showed us just how hard it is to survive...

The release of the first college football playoff rankings told us something we already knew: the SEC is home to some of the best teams in the country. The rankings are going to change after another Saturday of football, but let's just be clear that the SEC is the most difficult conference to play in week to week...

As it stands right now, the only thing that can stop an SEC team from making the playoffs is another SEC team.
