The Alabama Crimson Tide suffered its first loss of the 2014 season, 84-74, to No. 13 Iowa State on Monday night. Alabama falls to 3-1 on the year while Iowa State improves to 3-0.

Iowa State advanced to its first Sweet Sixteen since 2000 and just the 5th in school history after hanging to beat North Carolina on Sunday.

This season is slowly becoming one to forget for the Iowa State football program.
