Said Bama coach Kristy Curry: “Truly proud of our team today. It was a phenomenal effort in a tough environment. Great crowd today, credit to Missouri for doing a great job. This is always a fun place to play, a terrific atmosphere and really appreciate their support of women's basketball.

“I’m proud of our team. We had a tough opener [a hoe loss to Ole Miss] and our response was phenomenal. We were consistent all night. I thought we got off to really good starts in the first and the third quarters. I am proud of the way we shot the ball and decision making on both sides of the ball. We were able to get critical stops and make some big shots.”
