The University of Alabama had a total of 23 student athletes receive degrees during the summer commencement, including five All-Americans.

Tua Tagovailoa and DeVonta Smith are two out of six members of the Tide 2017 National Champion and 2018 Southeastern Conference Champion football who earn degrees this summer. Bo Scarbrough an All-American and Detroit Lions running back is also graduating. Giles Amos, Shyheim Carter, and Chris Owens all completed their master degrees this semester.

Alabama football's Instagram account posted a picture with coach Nick Saban along with nine of his graduating players. The account tagged Deonte Brown, Joe Donald, Thomas Fletcher, Devonta Smith, Joseph Bulovas, Miller Forristall, Daniel Wright, and Chris Owens.

SEC Champion Softball team has three summer graduates, Elissa Brown, Taylor Clark, and Claire Jenkins. Alabama's 2019 team finished with a 60-10 record with an 18-6 mark. Alabama softball sweep off LSU to close the season and take home the SEC regular season title.  Baseball has three graduates including All-American Brett Auerbach, along with Justin King and Walker McCleney.

Men's tennis had three players to earn degrees this semester, Alexey Nesterov, Edson Ortiz, and Zhe Zhou. Ortiz won the 2020 SEC Men's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Nesterov earned CoSIDA Academic All-District IV honors.  On the woman tennis team Kim Gintrand received a degree this semester.

Track and field/cross country had All- American Keitavious Walter joined by J.P. Brinyark, Alize Ford, Michael Wiggins and Haley Wright graduate this summer.

Galin Smith was the only one to earn a degree on the Men's basketball team along with Kaylee Thomas on the volleyball team.

The University of Alabama had more than 150 degrees during the 2019-20 academic year.
