Graduate transfer Gehrig Dieter is three practices into his first and only season with the Alabama Crimson Tide, and the wide receiver says adjustment to a new program has been smooth.

"It's been a great transition," Dieter said. "Everybody has been supportive. The whole team has been really good to me. These guys are like brothers already."

Wide receiver appears to be the deepest position heading into the 2016 season, but Dieter still figures to play a role in the passing game. The former Bowling Green 1,000-yard receiver has been singled out by coaches this fall, and he points to his experience as his biggest strength for this team.

"Experience is the biggest thing for me," Dieter said. "I've played three years of college football already. Coming into my fourth, I feel like I know the game really well and feel comfortable at any position."

Dieter will wear No. 14 for the Crimson Tide this fall.
