Alabama and Clemson will make their way to Tampa for a rematch in the College Football Playoff championship game and Tide 102.9 will be there to provide the most comprehensive coverage in the state.

Both teams will arrive on Friday and that's when we'll broadcast our first show from Audio Avenue inside the media hotel. The Game with Ryan Fowler will bring listeners updates from Tampa and set the stage for what's to come throughout the weekend.

The station will also provide special programming on Saturday and Sunday to give fans a place to go to for coverage of Alabama's run at a fifth championship in eight seasons, which would be unmatched in the modern era. Both teams will take part in media days on Saturday morning and you can hear from players and coaches on Tide1029.com and on the station YouTube channel.

Following media days, a special Saturday edition of The Game will air from 1-5 PM/CT to recap everything that was said and take your calls. Then a special CTSN Alabama Championship Preview Show will air live from Tampa from 5-7 PM/CT.

On Sunday, Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney will take part in a joint press conference with the media on the eve of the championship game. Tide 102.9 will carry that live beginning at 8 AM/CT.

Then on gameday, the Home of Alabama Sports will bring you nearly 20 hours of live programming, most of which will originate from Tampa. Here's how the schedule will look on Monday, January 9:

  • 7AM - Inside the Locker Room with Wimp and Barry
