Alabama football is nearly 10 practices into spring ball. One of its main tasks this spring is finding replacements for departing receivers Jameson Williams, John Metchie III and Slade Bolden. The Crimson Tide has several candidates to fill those vacated roles but one player who will not be is sophomore receiver Agiye Hall.

Hall is no longer listed on the Alabama football online roster. BamaOnline's Charlie Potter was the first to report Hall's absence from the roster. BamaInsider reports that Hall's time in Tuscaloosa has come to an end. The next step for the Florida receiver is to officially enter the transfer portal and find a new school.

Hall has taken to Twitter to react to Tuesday morning's news.

"News to me, but for sure" tweeted the enigmatic wide receiver.

Hall burst onto the scenes with an impressive showing in the 2021 A Day scrimmage. He hauled in four receptions for 72  yards while displaying impressive catch radius and ability to haul in contested passes.

However, Hall was unable to parlay that into regular season success as he was routinely in Nick Saban's dog house. Hall was suspended for the Tennessee game due to a violation of team rules.

The former 5-star receiver did play in seven games, largely on special teams in 2021 but got an opportunity to showcase his skills in the national championship game after Jameson Williams went down with a torn ACL.

Hall finished the season with four receptions for 73 yards but largely underwhelmed in the championship game.

He took to Twitter after the disappointing effort in the championship game to assure Alabama fans that he would bounce back and improve his output in the future.

Apparently it appears Hall will have to show that improvement at another university.
