Howdy, everyone! I'm your friendly neighborhood print journalist-turned-digital aficionado. I graduated from The University of Alabama (roll ALL the tides) with a BA in Communication and Information Sciences in 2020. In college, I was the Editor-in-Chief of the semiweekly student newspaper, The Crimson White, whose third-ever Pacemaker Award was won under our staff. I moonlighted as a digital reporter for WVUA 23 News, West Alabama's only commercial television station, which is housed in the one and only Bryant-Denny Stadium. After a quick four-month quarantine stint in my hometown of Huntsville, Alabama, I emerged from the abysmal job market with a gig at Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa as its newest Digital Managing Editor. In my free time, you can find me reading biographies on the Kennedy family, spending entirely too much money on overpriced iced coffee, and spoiling my 3-year-old cat, Cleo. Follow me on Twitter for terrible jokes, Crimson Tide/Washington D.C. sports love and the occasional reminder to save the bees, plant more trees and clean the seas.
