Tuscaloosa Academy head basketball coach Barry Sanderson is putting on his traditional summer basketball camp this summer. The camp will have two sessions this summer, one in June and one in July and is available for those as young as 6-years old and as old as rising juniors in high school.

In their Monday morning “College Basketball Power Rankings,” ESPN ranked the Alabama Crimson Tide (13-3, 8-0) in the top 10 at number eight. This three-spot jump from No. 11 continues the steady growth in notoriety for the Crimson Tide men’s basketball team. To add to the success, Alabama moved up to ninth in the country in the latest AP poll.

The Tuscaloosa Academy Girls basketball team are on the quest for a 3-peat in state titles and from the looks of it. they're well on the way with a 51-12 victory over Patrician Academy. The boys followed up with an overwhelming combination of cohesiveness, shooting, and defense to dominate Patrician Academy in almost all facets of the game.

How will the SEC and Big 12 respond to the decisions of the other conferences? Will SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey opt to follow suit and play only conference matchups? Should the conferences try to play its group of five and FCS opponents to ensure those schools are able to make their budget?
