Former Alabama Assistant Discusses Coaching With Nick Saban

The foundation for the success for Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide is due to the players Saban is able to recruit, the standard he has developed and the coaches he's brought up in the program.

But one coach and assistant coach was there in the beginning stages of Saban's tenure at Alabama and he knew his run as the head coach for the Crimson Tide was in the making from the start.

Pendry, former Alabama assistant and offensive line coach and and general manager for the Birmingham Iron in the newly launched AAF joined The Game with Ryan Fowler discuss his time as a coach under Saban, Bobby Bowden getting him into coaching, the changes in offensive line play, and the new football league and what it provides to players.
