Deadly Accident Shuts Down McFarland Boulevard Near Skyland

Inbound traffic on McFarland Blvd., south of Skyland, will be closed much of the morning due to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.

According to TPD the section of McFarland between Tuscaloosa Ford and Old Jug Factory Road is currently blocked as the investigation into the incident continues.

The outbound, eastbound lanes will remain open.

A sheet has been placed over the deceased.
