Join the Excitement: UA Alumni Association's Fall Kick-Off Event

The Tuscaloosa County Chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association is set to ignite enthusiasm with their upcoming annual fall kick-off event. As anticipation builds, alumni and supporters prepare to rally behind the Crimson Tide for an evening of spirited celebration.

Tuscaloosa County Chapter President Anna Claire Toxey said the “chapter is looking forward to bringing UA alumni and supporters together for this annual event.”

A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit the Tuscaloosa County Scholarship Fund, underscoring the commitment to supporting local students' educational aspirations.

In 2024, the Chapter awarded over $190,000 in scholarships to students from high schools in Tuscaloosa County.

Annual Fall Kick-Off Event

The family-friend event will be held on Thursday, August 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the SkyGate Club of the WestGate Luxury Condominiums.

There will be a pep rally, door prizes, and other guest speakers. There will also be a silent auction of items like autographed sports memorabilia and more.

Jeff Allen, The University of Alabama's Associate Athletics Director of Sports Medicine, will be the keynote speaker, bringing his extensive expertise to the event.

“I have no doubt attendees will leave feeling energized and excited for the upcoming football season after hearing Jeff speak about his time working under both Coach Nick Saban and our new head coach, Kalen DeBoer,” said Toxey.

Ticket Details

According to the press release, “Alumni chapter membership is not required to attend. This event is open to alumni, students, parents, and fans.”

Tickets for the event entrance and dinner are $35. Tickets for children ages 4 – 10 are $15, and ages 3 and under are free.

A select number of VIP tickets are available, priced at $55 for adults, $35 for children aged 4 to 10, and $15 for those 3 and under. These exclusive tickets offer attendees a unique opportunity to tour Bryant-Denny Stadium before the event, with the tour at 4:15 PM.
