Never in my life did I imagine myself as a fan of college football. That is until I made the move to Alabama back in 2019.

Since living here, I've learned so much about Alabama football, the culture, and the players both past and present.

As a fan of the NFL, I knew a lot of players were drafted to the league from Bama but in 2019, that's when I really learned the truth. The University is pretty much NFL-U.

That's exactly what happened with Josh Jacobs.

I never knew about his journey from college to the NFL until recently.

"I never thought that the NFL was a reality for me," said Jacobs when speaking about his college career at Alabama.

Knowing Josh Jacobs in the NFL, I thought he was a starter while in college.

"First round grade? I'm the third back," Jacobs said, referring to his position on the Alabama football team depth chart. Things like this goes to show you that the talent at Alabama runs deep.

Jacobs said he went to Bama to get his degree, not to go to the NFL. Luckily, it all worked out better than he expected.

After hearing his story in this viral clip, I'm now wondering....What other Alabama football players have a similar story or even a more interesting one.
