Looking Ahead to Texas A&M with Former Bama DC Ellis Johnson
Former Alabama and Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson joined Host Gary Harris Thursday morning to discuss the Crimson Tide's weekend match up against Texas A&M, react to Auburn's loss to Florida and much more.
"I thought that Florida's defense proved to be better than maybe people thought they were," Johnson discussed Florida's win over Auburn. "They really played better than Auburn's defense. I think they got a shot against Georgia because their defense is playing outstanding and giving them a chance to win close ball game."

"Alabama has not been a good rushing defense this year," Johnson discussed Texas A&M's quarterback Kellen Mond's rushing threat. "They've been sort of average in that category. They do much better against the pass, but I do think it would give them an added element and he's capable."
You can listen to Gary's full conversation with Ellis Johnson as they discuss and preview the SEC's weekend slate.
"In the big games where they've really played good opponents," Johnson continued with Harris about Mond. "He's been very accurate and I think Alabama is still good enough on defense to give him problems."
