The University of Alabama football team held a nearly two-hour practice session in shells on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields Friday afternoon in front of over 1,200 high school coaches from around the region.

The 2016 Clinic of Champions, hosted by head coach Nick Saban, features former Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, former Florida and South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier, former Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer, former NFL general manager Bill Polian and current Philadelphia Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, who coached the Tide’s line for two seasons (2011-12).

The practice marked the 11th of spring drills. The Crimson Tide will hold its second scrimmage of the spring Saturday, April 9, inside Bryant-Denny Stadium (closed to the public). Alabama’s 2016 Golden Flake A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 16, at 2 p.m. CT inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game is once again free to the public and will be broadcast on ESPN with Kirk Herbstreit, Joe Tessitore and Joey Galloway calling the action. For those wishing to visit the Bryant Museum on A-Day weekend, it will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on April 16th and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, April 15 and Sunday, April 17.
