Statistically speaking, February is not a kind month to the Tide. Over the last four seasons, Alabama is 14-19 in February alone. Last season The Crimson Tide ended the season 4-7.
In Monday’s latest AP Poll, the Alabama Crimson Tide (14-4, 9-0) slipped one spot to No. 10. This comes just two days after ’Bama fell to the No. 24 Oklahoma Sooners 66-61 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
Alabama went on the road and snapped its three-game losing streak by defeating the Georgia Bulldogs 105-102 in overtime. The Crimson Tide overcame a second half double-digit lead by the Bulldogs to get a much needed road win. The victory moves Alabama to 13-10 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
