Alabama is saying goodbye to one of its assistant coaches.

In nearly every offseason, Alabama head coach Nick Saban is tasked not just with replacing the talented players who leave for the NFL Draft, but also assistant coaches who leave to take other coaching jobs. The end of the 2021 season proved to be no different.

The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is always shuffling and tinkering to enhance its operations. The Tide added Rick Danison as an assistant strength and conditioning coach according to the Alabama staff directory.

The Alabama Crimson Tide made it official today, Drew Svoboda was announced as the new Crimson Tide special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. Svoboda replaces the departing Jay Graham who resigned to address mental health concerns. Svoboda joins Nick Saban's staff after spending the previous three months in the same role for the Memphis Tigers

After former special teams coach Jay Graham stepped away from the program last week, it appears Nick Saban has found his replacement in Drew Svoboda.
