Former Alabama basketball player James Rojas announced on social media that he will be transferring to Wichita State after entering the transfer portal last week.

Both players were honored by the team on senior night this season and one has received his diploma from the University.

Alabama senior forward James Rojas underwent surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, AL to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. Dr. Lyle Cain of Andrews Sports Medicine performed the surgery and he expects Rojas to make a full recovery. Dr. Cain also performed the ACL surgery on the right knee of Rojas in 2019.

Alabama's James Rojas has suffered a torn ACL. This is a tough loss for the Tide and a tough break for Rojas, who experienced the same injury just two years ago.

Rojas helped lead Hutchinson CC to NJCAA championship game last season.
