John Petty Jr. came to Alabama as the two time Mr. Basketball winner and the top recruit in the state of Alabama according to 247Sports. After three years at the Capstone, Petty Jr. made the choice to enter his name in the NBA Draft. He hasn't hired an agent yet so he still has the option to return to Alabama for his senior season.

Alabama Head Coach Nate Oats said in his conference call with the media this week that he is expecting Kira Lewis Jr. and John Petty Jr. to enter their names into the NBA Draft. Today Petty Jr. confirmed those intentions on social media.
