According to Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Alabama senior cornerback Josh Jobe underwent foot surgery this week and will be unavailable for the Tide's playoff run. Jobe has been dealing with a turf toe injury that has impacted his availability most of the year.
Jalyn Amour-Davis has held down the No. 1 cornerback spot opposite of Josh Jobe since spring practice, but a recent injury has opened the door for some young cornerbacks.
Khyree Jackson had finally set a commitment date. The top junior college defensive back in the 2021 class, announced that he will be committing Saturday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.

Already in on top corner in the state of Alabama, Ga'Quincy McKinstry, Alabama has apparently offered a scholarship to JUCO cornerback Khyree Jackson. The 6-foot-3 corner is out of East Mississippi Community College. Jackson announced his scholarship offer on his social media this afternoon.
