After a year where Alabama didn't have one standout receiver, Benson could certainly come in and immediately become the guy in Tuscaloosa.

Benson he chose the Tide over Oregon, Tennessee, Georgia and LSU and plans to enroll at The Capstone in January.

Alabama is now up to 23 members of the 2023 class and is firmly in the No. 1 overall position according to all the major recruiting services.

The top JUCO prospect got a big surprise from Saban and the Crimson Tide staff.
