Former Brookwood Panthers right-hander Brandon Johnson struck out the side and recorded a save in the 9th inning to clinch the Rebels' first national title.
Norwood played for the Crimson Tide from 2009-13, he finished his career with 81 receptions for 1,275 yards and 12 touchdowns for Alabama. The receiver was a part of two SEC championship winning teams and three national championship winning teams.
