Sporting News has released its 2020 Preseason All-American list and seven of the players selected should look pretty familiar to Crimson Tide fans.

As we count down to the start of college football season, different publications and foundations announce its preseason awards. Today the Walter Camp Football Foundation named six Crimson Tide players to its first and second teams. DeVonta Smith made the first team, Alex Leatherwood, Najee Harris, Dylan Moses, Patrick Surtain II and Jaylen Waddle were named to the second team.

According to Tony Tsoukalas of BamaInsider, the Alabama Crimson Tide program has had at least five members of the football team test positive for COVID-19. The university has not confirmed the report or revealed the names of the players who reportedly tested positive, citing player privacy regulations.
