Morning storms are producing heavy rainfall in West Alabama, and the National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Flood Advisory in effect until 8:15 a.m.
Severe weather is once again in the forecast for Alabama, as the National Weather Service in Birmingham is warning residents of the potential for damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes on Sunday.
Severe storms have impacted the South this afternoon and through the evening hours. Several severe storms produced tornadic circulation, and many more storms caused damage from straight-line winds.

Today's forecast calls for a potentially dangerous severe weather outbreak, and as such, storm shelters throughout the City of Tuscaloosa and Tuscaloosa County will be open for residents.
