Each week during the NFL regular season, I'll award one standout Alabama player of the week whose performance boosted his team to victory. The only criteria being his team must win. At the end of the season, I'll name the MVP and hand out a few other awards to recognize the excellence the Alabama Crimson Tide has present in the NFL.

With a league-best 55 (counting Jalen Hurts) active players under contract across 28 franchises, there are plenty of options to choose from. Here's this week's winner:

All three starting quarterbacks from Alabama won their respective games in Week 11, but Jalen Hurts's Eagles was the most dominant team thanks to his three touchdowns over the Saints, making him our Week 11 Bama Pro of the Week.

Hurts wasn't overly flashy with his arm Sunday afternoon, completing 13-24 passes for 147 yards, but he was efficient when needed. He connected with DeVonta Smith four times for 61 of those yards.

The Eagles rushed out to a big lead at 27-7 at half with Hurts scoring on a quarterback sneak and a scramble to the pylon in the first quarter.

The Saints surged in the fourth quarter, scoring 22 points in a comeback effort. Hurts slammed the door on that attempt with a 24-yard rushing touchdown that justifiably set social media on fire.

Hurts has certainly had his ups and downs as a first-year, full-time starter, but recently he's seen much more ups. Over the last five games Hurts has the highest QBR in the NFL while going 3-2 in those games, one loss decided by a field goal.

Overall, Hurts is really shaping up to be the quarterback of the future in Philadelphia. He's completing 61% of his passes and has thrown for 2,306 yards with 13 touchdowns to just five interceptions. His rushing ability continues to be his biggest weapon, at 638 yards and eight touchdowns, an impressive 3,500-1,000 yard season is within reach.

Next week, Hurts and the Eagles will head to New Jersey to take on the rival New York Giants.
