Impact of losing to Michigan on recruiting?

"Not really. Alabama won the SEC championship. People see there's a bright future ahead. I don't think there's any negative impact on recruiting.

"You just signed the N0. 2 class in the country and have a chance to add more."

On the Army and UnderArmour Games/CB Zay Mincey and RB Daniel Hill

"Alabama... a lot of people feel like that's going to be the choice. Daniel Hill and Zay Mincey have signed. Alabama has been their [Hill's family] favorite school.

Mincey was going to be a kid really tough to get out of Florida. He's only visited Alabama twice, but the relationship with Travaris Robinson has been really good.

"This [Minc3y] looked like an Alabama/Florida battle then an Alabama/Miami battle. Alabama is sitting in a good spot. Everybody's being tight-lipped.

"I think Alabama's in a pretty good spot for both [when they announce Saturday.]"

Bone added that he doubts Alabama will catch Georgia for the top class even with these additions."

On Ryan Williams in February

"Ryan keeps coming out and saying he's 100 per cent solid to Bama. I've talked to Alabama about it. They're OK with him taking visits. I think Alabama feels like they're in a good spot. Holmon Wiggins leaving for TAMU got people talking...but Ryan has relationships all over the Alabama staff.

"Most kids that go to Alabama; it's all about Nick Saban.

"The guy they really connected with is Travaris Robinson. He's still very solid. He's taking visits to Alabama, Texas and Auburn third. He could visit Alabama first and shut everything down. We'll see."

On the transfer portal

"With LT Overton you get a guy a little undersized at 260. I think Alabama will put weight on him for defensive end. He played a lot of snaps for Texas A&M.

"Domani Jackson started every game for USC at corner.. 6-1, 195, 10.2 100 meters. He's got a chance to be something special.

"Bertrand... I don't think Alabama recruited him to be an immediate starter. 6-6, 350. Hasn't hit his stride yet. Most offensive linemen want to start. He's more developmental and he's OK with that."

2025 recruiting

"The biggest thing now is the quarterback decision. Bryce Underwood is the No. 1 player in the country and it's probably coming down to Alabama and LSU. LSU is considered the favorite. He announces Saturday.

"George McIntyre, No. 2 quarterback in the country from Tennessee is announcing soon between Alabama and Tennessee. Tennessee feels good about it.

"If Underwood commits to LSU that eliminates McIntyre for them.

"On Jan. 20 Alabama will have recruits in town. They have seven 2025 commitments and currently the No. 2 class in the country."

Bone added that Alabama could potentially re-flip Antonio Coleman back from Auburn.
