Two Alabama baseball players have been named All-Americans.

Third baseman Colby Shelton and closer Alton Davis II have both been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Freshman All-American Second-Team.

Shelton had a stellar freshman season, recording a .301 batting average with 61 hits, 51 runs batted in, 49 runs, 33 drawn walks, 25 home runs, ten doubles, two sacrifice flies, and a triple.

He was also named a Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Freshman All-American earlier in the month.

Davis recorded a 1-2 record in his first season at the Capstone, as well as a 5.35 earned run average, 34 hits, 32 strikeouts, 20 runs (20 earned), 12 walks, and eight saves.

Davis was one of two players invited to join USA Baseball Collegiate National Team's training camp this offseason.
