Alabama Adds Texas Transfer
Former Texas RHP Pierce George has announced his commitment to Alabama.
The 6-foot-7 freshman only pitched two innings for the Longhorns in 2023, allowing three earned runs and four walks. George also struck out one batter.
Out of high school, George was the No. 9 ranked pitcher in Texas and the No. 35 best player in the state.
George is the 7th transfer to commit to Alabama during the offseason, joining OF Evan Sleight, OF Ian Petrutz, IF/OF TJ McCants, RHP Coulson Buchanan, C Will Plattner, and RHP Bobby Alcock.
