Anytime just one top 10 team falls, it makes for an excellent week of upsets.
Losses by top-10 teams carry even more magnitude when it comes at the hands of an unranked opponent. If you are unclear on what game we are talking about, here is a quick recap from that game along with a couple of other upsets in week six:
Navy scored 21 points in the third quarter in route to a monster 46-40 upset over #6 Houston.
A blocked extra point capped off a 20-19 win for #23 Florida State over #10 Miami.
#15 Stanford's offense once again could not the ball moving and fell victim to a blowout 42-16 loss to Washington State.
Three passing touchdowns by USC quarterback Sam Darnold was all that was needed to beat #21 Colorado, 21-17.
We do not expect another top 10 to fall this week unless it comes at the hands of another top 10 team, but, then again, upsets happen when you least expect them.

Kansas State at #19 Oklahoma
Line: Oklahoma -11.0
If there is anything Bill Snyder has proven in his 25 years as head coach of Kansas State, it's that his teams are capable of pulling off an upset at anytime. With Oklahoma not being on top of its game, the Wildcats have an excellent opportunity to pull off a big upset on the road.
The Sooners' struggles are a bit odd when you consider the talent they have on offense. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is throwing for almost 300 passing yards per game, while Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine may be the best running back duo in the country. The problem lies on defense where they have given up over 400 yards of offense in four of their five games.
Meanwhile, Kansas State currently boasts the best defense in the BIG 12. The Wildcats have mastered the art of forcing turnovers, which will work in their favor as the Sooners -6 turnover margin is tied for the third worst among Power 5 schools. The question is whether or not Kansas State has enough offensive firepower to actually outscore Oklahoma.
It is never easy to beat the Sooners in their home stadium. However, this is not the same Oklahoma that we have seen in past years, so the Wildcats certainly have an excellent chance.
Arizona State at Colorado
Line: Colorado -13.5
It is not often that a team that just got upset finds its way back on an upset list. It is also pretty rare for said team to be favored by double digits over a 5-1 team in a conference game.
Colorado certainly has come a long way after going 2-10 in 2014. The Buffaloes rank in the top three in both total defense and total offense in the PAC-12. Still, they showed last week in their loss to USC that they may struggle to sustain this success especially against a team that scores almost 40 points per game on average.
Arizona State, while averaging 40 points per game, has flown under the radar due to a defense that is allowing about 500 yards of offense per game. Fortunately for the Sun Devils, they play in the one Power 5 conference that does not require a top notch defense. In other words, they can focus solely on just scoring more points that Colorado.
This game could very easily be handed to the Buffaloes if they slow down Arizona State in just the slightest way. However, all the Sun Devils will need is just the slightest bit of offensive momentum.
#2 Ohio State at #8 Wisconsin
Line: Ohio State -10.0
Two weeks removed from a narrow loss to Michigan, Wisconsin will look to return home and pull off a huge upset over #2 Ohio State.
The Badgers certainly have the defense to slow down the Buckeyes. They are the only team in the BIG 10 that has not allowed more than 17 points in a game. The problem in their loss to Michigan was the inability to score, so Wisconsin must find a way to take advantage of any opportunities they are given. Good thing they had an extra week to prepare.
Ohio State, for reasons that should be obvious, will not go down without a fight. The Buckeyes have lost just three regular season games under Urban Meyer. They rank in the top five nationally in both total offense and total defense, but they also have not faced a team with a defense like Wisconsin.
There is no question that Camp Randall will be extremely loud for this game. It is going to be a very tough environment for the Buckeyes to play in. In other words, you will want to keep an eye on this one.
