The Alabama softball team had two student-athletes named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 team, the organization announced Friday. Senior outfielder Kayla Braud (Eugene, Ore.) and junior infielder Kaila Hunt (Evans, Ga.) earned the honors for the Crimson Tide.

Braud earns all-district honor for the third straight season, nabbing the accolade each year she has been eligible at the University of Alabama. Braud maintains a 3.78 GPA in public relations and has twice been named to the Academic All-America team. The fleet-footed outfielder is batting .446 with 54 runs, 70 hits and a team-best 35 stolen bases.

Hunt earns academic all-district honors for the second straight season as she sports a 3.84 GPA in secondary education with an emphasis on mathematics. The power-hitting second baseman is batting .396 with 12 home runs and a team-best 51 RBI. She also leads the team with a .727 slugging percentage and 30 walks.
