Alabama Baseball Breaks into Top-Ten

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Following a 3-1 week, where Alabama prevailed in their midweek matchup against North Alabama and a series win over then-No. 9 Oklahoma, the Crimson Tide jumped up four spots in D1Baseball's rankings to No. 8.

The Crimson Tide has picked several ranked wins throughout the season in addition to their series win over Oklahoma, taking down No. 21 Coastal Carolina and No. 20 Troy. Alabama also took a game from Tennessee in their series loss a week ago.

Alabama welcomes Samford in in-state midweek action Tuesday, before traveling to the other side of the state for a weekend series against No. 16 Auburn; the Tigers were swept by No. 3 Georgia this past weekend.
