The Alabama baseball team fell 14-2 to Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday afternoon at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. The Crimson Tide now moves to 7-4 overall, as the Ragin’ Cajuns claim the series victory.

Alabama used five pitchers on the day, allowing 14 hits compared to four for the Crimson Tide. The UA offense was led by Mikey White, who finished today at 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run, while also adding an RBI and two runs scored.

Following this weekend’s games, Alabama will head to Montgomery on Tuesday for the annual Capital City Classic with in-state rival Auburn. The Crimson Tide and Tigers are scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch inside Riverwalk Stadium, home to the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits.
