TUSCALOOSA, Ala — Following an undefeated week on the road in Birmingham and College Station, the Crimson Tide continued their fast ascension in D1Baseball's top 25, jumping five spots to No. 12.

Alabama knocked Texas A&M, the pre-season No. 1 according to D1Baseball, entirely out of the rankings as the Aggies fell to 10-9.

The top five remained largely the same, the only change being Tennessee and LSU swapping rankings, putting Tennessee at No. 1 and LSU at No. 2.

This means that Tony Vitello's 20-0 Vols squad comes to Sewell-Thomas Stadium as the No. 1 team in the nation, placing arguably the biggest series in collegiate baseball next weekend in Tuscaloosa.
