Alabama Basketball to Open Season Against the Oklahoma Sooners

According to Jason King of ESPN Dallas, the University of Alabama men’s basketball program will open its 2013-2014 season against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The event will be part of a series set that will include matchups between : Baylor University and Colorado,Texas and LSU, and Southern Methodist University, and Texas Christian University. The four-game tip off event will take place at the American Airlines arena-the arena that houses the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.

The marquee matchup is the third in recent weeks that was announced recently that Alabama will play in Los Angeles against the UCLA Bruins and take on Texas Tech in Tuscaloosa

Alabama will also take part in the NIT Season Tip-Off including traditional basketball powers Duke and Arizona.
