Right after week three, many college football fans and media members declared Alabama's dynasty over. Now in week 11, following a dominating win over LSU, the Crimson Tide finds itself as the co-favorite to win another national championship.

Alabama continues to gain support from voters and oddsmakers since that September 19 loss to Ole Miss in Tuscaloosa. After that five-turnover performance, the Crimson Tide's odds dropped to as low as 18-1 in some places.

Momentum is now on the side of Nick Saban after a 30-16 win over then-No.2 LSU. Alabama controls its own destiny in the SEC West with two conference games remaining and is in a strong position to return to the College Football Playoff.

Possibly the toughest game remaining between Alabama and a semifinal birth is Saturday's game against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are a one-touchdown underdog in Starkville for the 2:30 PM/CT kickoff.
