Alabama Football Lands Texas Linebacker
After a series of dramatic cryptic tweets that surfaced this evening, the Crimson Tide have finally landed Texas linebacker, Kendrick Blackshire.
According to 24/7sports composite, Blackshire is the No. 7 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 148 overall prospect in the nation for the 2021 recruiting cycle. At 6-foot-2, 250-pounds, he could be the perfect replacement for Dylan Moses, alongside Christian Harris.
Blackshire won the Texas District 11-6A Co-Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, and was on his way to becoming a five-star recruit before he tore his ACL during his junior year. In his freshman and sophomore year, he also had a combined 180 tackles.
This player has been a top priority for Alabama ever since last year. The Crimson Tide beat out LSU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma and Illinois for the Lone Star state stud.
It seems like the dominos are finally falling for Alabama football....
