The Alabama Crimson Tide will begin its preparation for the start of the 2015 season on Thursday as fall camp opens.

The first practice will be held in the afternoon with the entire team participating together. This has been a shift from previous years when the freshmen class would work alone in an evening practice session to get acclimated to the process.

With a chance of showers throughout the day, there's a chance that practice could begin inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. The highs on Thursday aren't expected to reach 90 degrees so this might be one of the coolest days of the entire camp.

Of course, all eyes will be on the quarterback position as Jake Coker and David Cornwell are expected to compete for the starting job in the season opener against Wisconsin. But we'll also be watching the running back position to see how emerges as the third back behind Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake.

Throughout fall camp, Tide 99.1 will be providing full practice coverage online and on our YouTube channel. We'll also have daily analysis from Ryan Fowler, host of the The Game.
