Alabama Lineman Finds New Home in SEC East
The Alabama Crimson Tide saw several players enter the transfer portal at the conclusion of the 2022 season. Most of the former Alabama players have already announced their new homes.
Former Alabama offensive lineman Damieon George has taken to Twitter on Monday to announce he will be transferring to the University of Florida.
George entered the transfer portal just after the Iron Bowl and did not participate in the bowl practice. He has two years of eligibility remaining to play in the SEC East.
George came to Tuscaloosa as a 3-star recruit out of Houston in the 2020 recruiting class. He appeared in 17 games in Tuscaloosa largely as a reserve, but he did make three starts in 2021 at tackle.
