Alabama Men’s Basketball to Participate in 2018 Gilden Charleston Classic

The Alabama men’s basketball team has been selected as one of the eight teams which will participate in the 2018 Gilden Charleston Classic. The four-day event will be held Thursday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 18, at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

In addition to the Crimson Tide, the other teams who will participate in next year’s event include, Appalachian State, Ball State, Davidson, Northeastern, Purdue, Virginia Tech and Wichita State.

The current field includes three teams that participated in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, and two teams that currently ranked in the AP Top 25.

Matchups and television designations will be announced at a later date.
