This year's Butkus Award winner won't be able to participate in drills at the NFL Combine when it begins later this month.

Alabama's Reuben Foster, who is considered the top linebacker prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft, underwent a surgery that will keep him out of the scouting event, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

It will be interesting to see if this will effect Foster's draft stock at all. Mel Kiper rated him the top inside linebacker in the draft while some mock drafts have Foster going as high as 5th overall to the Tennessee Titans.

The senior finished his Alabama career by leading the team with 115 total tackles and finished fourth in both tackles for loss (13.0) and sacks (5.0).
