Former Alabama golfer Bud Cauley shot a bogey-free, 7-under 65 in the final round of the Hotel Fitness Championship to capture his first professional win.

Maybe more importantly, Cauley regained his PGA Tour card for next season after earning $180,000 for the Web.com Tour victory. After missing six weeks over the summer because of a dislocated elbow, the 24-year-old finished 143rd on the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Standings (only the top 125 earn membership for the following year).

"I've dreamt of winning golf tournaments on tour," Cauley said. "It's probably 80-20 between celebration and relief. It was a lot of fun today. Winning is what we aspire to do."

Cauley turned pro following his junior season with the Crimson Tide, where he was named a first-team All-American by Golfweek all three years. He quickly earned his PGA Tour card just months after leaving Tuscaloosa and has retained a spot on the world's top tour every year since.
