Courtney Morgan’s New Contract

Another day at Alabama, another survived staff poaching.

Courtney Morgan, Alabama's General Manager, has been extended with the Crimson Tide. HIs contract is for three years averaging about $825,000 a year.

Contract breakdown:

Year 1 - $775,000

Year 2 - $825,000

Year 3 - $875,000

Not only does this secure Morgan's spot with the team and help the Tide when it comes to recruiting, but it also resets the market for GM"S around the league. This front office position is starting to make it's rounds throughout the league as programs around the country aim to establish new positions in order to get on top of the new landscape emerging in college football.
