Alabama sent 10 players to Indianapolis to participate in the NFL Combine. The players submitted themselves to a medical assessment, body measurements and interviews with the media. The wide receivers have already participated in a skills showcase while the defenders will participate throughout the weekend.

Tua Tagovailoa did not participate in the on-field drills for the quarterbacks due to his current hip injury but he was measured and tested by the doctors and accomplished what he set out to accomplish over the weekend. Tagovailoa measured at 6 feet tall, 217 pounds, 10 inches for his throwing left hand, 9-7/8 inches for his right hand, 30-4/8 inches for his arm length and a 75-2/8 inch wingspan. He was the shortest quarterback measured but had one of the largest hand sizes of the quarterback prospects.

Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III were measured and participated in the 40-yard dash in Indianapolis. Jeudy stood at 6 feet 1 inch tall, 193 pounds, 32-1/8 inch arm length and a 76 inch wingspan. Ruggs III stood at 5 feet 11 inches tall, 188 pounds, 30-4/8 inch arm length and a 74-4/8 inch wingspan.

 

Jeudy officially ran his 40-yard dash in 4.45. Ruggs III was the fastest player clocked, checking in with a 4.27 officially. Jeudy vertical jumped 35 inches and Ruggs III soared to 42 inches in the vertical jump. Ruggs III recorded the highest vertical jump of anyone who ran a sub 4.3 40-yard dash in the combine era.

Jeudy broad jumped 120 inches and Ruggs III broad jumped 131 inches. Jeudy ran a 4.53 in the 20-yard shuttle drill and Ruggs III elected not to partake.

Crimson Tide offensive tackle Jedrick Wills had his measurements taken and stood at 6 feet 4-7/8 inches tall, he weighed 312 pounds, he has a 34-2/8 inch arm length and an 83-4/8 inch wingspan.

Raekwon Davis was the only defensive linemen representing the Crimson Tide, he stood at 6 feet 6-1/8 inches tall, he weighed 311 pounds, his hands measured at 11 inches, his arm length was 33-7/8 inches and his wingspan is 82-1/4 inches.

Alabama has two outside linebackers in Indianapolis, Anfernee Jenings and Terrell Lewis. The linebackers will take part in the drills portion on Saturday.

Jennings stands at 6 feet 2-1/8 inches, weighs 256 pounds, with 9-1/8 inch hands, his arms are 32-7/8 inches long with a wingspan of 79-4/8 inches.

Lewis stands at 6 feet 5-2/8 inches, weighs 262 pounds with 9-7/8 inch hands, his arms are 33-7/8 inches long with a wingspan of 83-3/8 inches. Lewis was tied for the tallest linebacker in the group and also tied for the longest wingspan of the linebackers.

Three defensive backs represented the Crimson Tide at the combine, Shyheim Carter, Trevon Diggs and Xavier McKinney. The trio will go through drills on Sunday but have already participated in the measurements and medical portion of their week.

Carter stands at 5 feet 10-1/2 inches, weighs 194 pounds, his hands were measured at 9-1/2 inches, his arms are 29-5/8 inches and he has a 71-3/4 inch wingspan.

Diggs stands at 6 feet 1-3/8 inches, weighs 205 pounds, has  9-3/8 inch hands, 32-3/4 inch arms and a 78-3/8 inch wingspan.

McKinney stands at 6 feet 3/8 inches, weighs 201 pounds, has 8-5/8 inch hands, 30-7/8 inch arms and a 75-1/2 inch wingspan.

The combine is a great opportunity to make a strong impression on NFL front office's and standout among the other draft eligible players.
