Dillon Lee Talks Challenge of Stopping Clemson QB Deshaun Watson [VIDEO]
Alabama's top-ranked defense will face its biggest test of the season on Monday night against Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.
The dual-threat sophomore is the type of player that the Crimson Tide has struggled to defend in recent years. Through 14 games this season, Watson has amassed an ACC-best 3,699 yards passing while also becoming one of seven players in the conference to rush for more than 1,000 yards.
Linebacker Dillon Lee met with the media on Monday to discuss the challenges that Clemson and Watson present.
"He pretty much does everything well," Lee said of Watson. "I think it's a good challenge for our defense, kinda changing gears a little bit from what Michigan State was doing."
Alabama will continue to rely on its defense to set the tone as the program pursues its 16th national championship and it all starts with the defensive front. That group recorded four more sacks against Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl to bring the season total to 50.
"I think with our defensive line and how good they've gotten and what they can do to affect quarterbacks helps a lot," Lee said.
