When any game moves into a blowout, fan-watching can provide some of the best entertainment of the night. This was certainly the case in Seattle on Saturday when Washington State got over-matched by 5th-ranked Stanford.

The Cougars entered 2013 losing 12 of its previous 49 football games so there hasn't been much to cheer for in Eastern Washington. But this year has brought with it rejuvenated energy and a bit of optimism. Washington State opened the season with a 3-1 start and an upset win over USC in Los Angeles. Many thought this game against Stanford provided another chance to shake up the Pac 12.

Those dreams crashed in a hurry on Saturday. Down 38-3 heading into the fourth quarter, Wazzou fans didn't have much to cheer and disinterest set in. Take our friend in the video below as example A. By this point in the game, optimism had been transformed into a bag of buttery popcorn stuck to a mustache and sitting alone on a full belly.
