The Reno, Nevada product was an Army All-American coming out of high school and one of the more hyped linebacker prospects of the Saban era. Kaho was never really able to nail down a big role on the defense however, totaling 31 tackles and one fumble recovery during his three years in Tuscaloosa in a backup and special teams role.

Utah and head coach Kyle Whittingham continue a busy offseason, as Kaho is the fourth former recruit of at least 4-stars to join the Utes this offseason. Running backs Chris Curry (LSU) and TJ Pledger (Oklahoma) as well as quarterbacks Ja'Quinden Jackson (Texas) and former Baylor standout Charlie Brewer all have committed to play out west.

Utah also brings back most of a defense that was one of the Pac-12's best in 2020. Kaho will join incoming freshman 4-star Ethan Calvert to compete for playing time with 2020 starters Devin Lloyd and Nephi Sewell.

While Kaho wasn't able to pan out in Tuscaloosa, things won't get a whole lot easier as he will have his work cut out for him in order to get serious playing time for the Utes in 2021.
