Former Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley is one of many famous figures in Fulton County, Ga., that has been a victim to a string of crimes committed by the Drug Rich Gang.

"Some of the celebrity victims included Calvin Ridley, who is a loved member of our Falcons," said Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in her press conference.

26 members of this gang were arrested on Monday for multiple offenses throughout the county, including kidnapping, armed robbery, shootings, and home invasions.

"What this indictment represents is 16 different victims in our county, 16 different incidents of violence, and 26 defendants," said Willis.

The crimes are dated back as late as 2018 and as recent as this month.

"The victims, they do not discriminate, but what they did do is target people who show their wealth on social media," said Willis.

Other notable celebrities victimized in these attacks are Atlanta United player Brad Guzan and Real Housewives of Atlanta member Marlo Hampton.

This is one of two big news headlines for Ridley, as he was suspended for the entire 2022-23 season for betting on the Atlanta Falcons last season while he was taking time off for mental health reasons.

Ridley has yet to respond to this recent news.
