Former Washington QB Austin Mack has announced his commitment to Alabama.

The 6-6 230 pound signal caller has four years of eligibility remaining.

Mack reclassed to 2023 from 2024 in February 2023

The former Washington commit was a composite four-star out of Folsom, Calif.

Mack is the first transfer to commit to the Tide since Saban's retirement. Mack follows former Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer to Tuscaloosa.

Mack will arrive in Tuscaloosa to an already stacked quarterback room, consisting of Jalen Milroe, five-star Julian Sayin, Ty Simpson, and Dylan Lonergan.

In his first year as a high school starter in 2022, Mack threw for 3,498 yards and 40 touchdowns for Folsom High School. That year he led Folsom to a 12-2 record and a Sec Joaquin Section D1 Championship in California.
